Objective

I am looking for opportunities to deploy my experience, strengths and abilities to new fields. My key objective is to bring the assignments I am given a business success. This is what I find most rewarding at the end of the day. It is also the source of pride and high motivation for me and my team.

Today, as a Senior Technical Staff Member (STSM) in IBM I am the technical leader of a global team of software engineers for the development and maintenance of a performance management software product called Optim Performance Manager (OPM). My team consists of 40 engineers distributed over locations in USA, Germany, Poland, India and China

I am responsible for the content, design and the timely delivery of all product releases of OPM. Furthermore I am responsible for the integration of this software with other major IBM products such as DB2 server, InfoSphere Warehouse or WebSphere Application Server.

I also drive the innovation for upcoming features and functions in the product to strongly win over competition. As part of this I have filed 17 patents so far.

I seek and leverage all opportunities for direct interaction with customers. I conduct frequent customer briefings and meetings. I also represent IBM at major customer conferences such as IBM Information On Demand (IOD) and International DB2 User Group (IDUG) conference over the past years.

I consider myself having particular strength and experience in the following areas:
